Welcome to Hirst Welfare Centre
Hirst Welfare is more than just a Community Centre – it’s a shared space for the people of Ashington and the wider area. A place where everyone’s welcome, no matter their age or background.
From early years and youth activities to local groups, fitness, friendship and support – everything we do is about bringing people together and making a difference close to home.
We’re proud to be part of this community, and we’re here to listen, support and grow with you. Whether you’re joining a group, popping into the café, or just looking for somewhere to feel connected – you’ll always find a warm welcome here.
This is your space. Your ideas, your community, your Hirst Welfare.
